Kalavahana Puja
tantric empowerment ritual
Kala means "part of nature" and Avahana means "invitation", Puja means "worship ritual".
Kalavahana Puja from Devipuram invites the forces of nature into our bodies through the medium of
Touch and mindfulness. The ritual activates the chakras (energy centers) in the body and gives
the experience of being worshipped like a goddess in a temple.
In the Shri Vidya tradition, the Shri Chakra worship (Śrī Cakra Pūja), documented in the Parśurama Kalpa Sutra,
the highest form of worshipping Devi (the Goddess). And since it includes all Devīs and Deities and their powers,
it bestows a special blessing to the participants.
The significance of Shri Chakra Puja lies in the removal of the 9 Avaranas (veils) and the attainment of the
ecstatic experience of inner consciousness.
All forces of the universe are invoked (fire, sun, water, moon, creative energies, conservation and
Dissolution, limitation and infinite grace and abundance...etc.) and invited into our body to thus create the holy
Nectar is nothing other than living consciousness itself, which is present in every living being
present, and is Devī (Goddess) herself.
Normally we worship Deities (statues) and Yantras but the best place of worship is in our body
itself to realize the truth of knowledge and bliss.
This practice allows us to call upon Devi in our body and powerfully remind ourselves that Devi
is within us and not outside of us.

ACTIVATING THE LIVING SHAKTI WITHIN

Sequence
The ritual takes place in a private session. The Śrī Yantra can be decorated together. Afterwards, I will recite various mantras and touch the corresponding body parts to activate the energies within. You can simply receive the veneration in a meditative state – sitting or lying down. It lasts approximately 2 hours. 30 minutes of this is for introduction and decoration, 1 hour for the ritual, and 30 minutes for reflection and sharing of experiences.
The ritual takes place either on Schweibenalp,
or at your home.
